Meet Talulla! Talulla is a senior miniature poodle who was found wandering the streets in Cumru Township back in April 2023. When she arrived at the shelter, even she was very friendly with her finder and our staff, and allowed our staff to do a medical check, get vaccinated, and placed in a kennel, the staff noticed there was something different about her. Talulla was blind and was showing signs of diabetes.
Immediately, our staff showed her love, and the veterinarians started trying to control her diabetes. Fortunately, her diabetes is now well-regulated, but she is still under our care. In fact, Talulla is currently our longest-time resident. At the time of writing this piece, she has been under ARL care for 260 days. Although she is in foster care, she is still finding a home that can provide her with the care she needs to keep her health in good shape.
When going home, she will require regular vet checks and ongoing medication to monitor and control her diabetes.

Talulla’s adoption fee is sponsored by a generous donor that wants to help her find a loving home.
