At the ARL, we believe that you should have the utmost confidence in how we use donor dollars. As a result, we try to be as transparent as possible and invite you to explore our impact numbers by viewing last year’s impact data and our donor policies below. You are also encouraged to explore the information on Guide Star and Charity Navigator. Our organization has been through significant change throughout our history, but we are steadfast in our commitment to constantly improve, and always have animals top of mind. We are humble enough to admit that won’t always do everything perfectly, but we are committed to constantly improving and using the following industry research to guide our decision making. At the ARL, we promise to use your funds exactly as you intend and to treat you with the respect and dignity you deserve each and every time you choose to support our organization. Can you show me ways in which my gift can be used?
Absolutely! Our Impact Report is a wonderful way to see how we use your gift to make a big impact on animals’ lives here at the ARL. To see how specific amounts can help the animals under our care, visit our donation page. There are many additional options available, not listed here, which include more advanced giving designations such as capital improvements and endowment opportunities. Great question! We take our commitment to Berks County seriously; and we want to be here for decades to come. Our most recent strategic plan was finalized in 2021, and we would be happy to share this document with you to discuss where our organization is headed. For those donors that are interested in gifts that will ensure long term sustainability, we have long range investment plans and accounts.
