On May 23, 2024, The Deparment of Animal Protection at the Animal Rescue League served a search warrant for a dog needing vet care. When they arrived to the house, they found 51 animals kept in small cages and poor conditions. Belle was part of this case.
In the beginning, she was very nervous and hesitant to come out of her cage. Our staff worked with her until they were able to take her out, slowly load her into the transport, and bring her to the shelter. It was difficult for her to adjust to her new conditions. She would back off into her kennel and refuse to come out for walks. With patience, our staff kept working on getting her trust, and now she is a confident pup who loves to walk and snuggle with our team at the office.
Belle has been available for adoption for 50 days, waiting for a loving family to take her home.
Her adoption fee is sponsored by a generous donor and you can meet her at the ARL today!
