Pet Portrait FUNraiser call for artists begins May 8, 2023

Calling all artists AND pet parents! We’re looking for artists to grab their pencils, pens, chalk or paints, and prepare to create a stunning (or, well, to-the-best-of-your-ability) pet portrait! AND, we’re looking for pet parents wanting to commission these artists by submitting a $30 donation and a photo of their beloved pet! You can learn more about the event here.

The voting round for best portrait kicks off on Saturday, June 24th at 12:00AM during our Pet Portrait Art Show. We have a special announcement about the location of the art show coming up very soon, so stay tuned on our website or social media!

Mingle at the Museum – Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Reading Public Museum

Cats n’ Mats at Mifflin and Sinking Spring YMCA – May 13th and May 20th

Cats n’ Mats Yoga is a friendly, non-judgmental environment where anyone at any level can join in to relax for self-care, down-time, laughter, sense of community, and to support our local Berks Animal Rescue league. This class is taught by a certified yoga instructor who will guide you through a gentle, relaxing, and restorative yoga session while enjoying adorable kittens!

All kittens featured are available for adoption and will be available to be placed on hold if you fall in love with one fur-baby!
