More Second Chances for More Zoomies

Sienna’s a young pup who should be spending her days playing and exploring. Instead, Sienna wandered into a school in the City of Reading, injured, scared, and unsure of her future.

After a day hanging with the principal, she made her way to ARL where it was determined that she was suffering from a Tibial Tuberosity Avulsion Fracture, a painful injury in which a portion of the bone where the knee ligament attaches is pulled away from the tibia. Without surgical intervention, Sienna could face chronic pain, limited mobility, and a diminished quality of life. Her surgery is expected to cost between $5,044 and $5,359.

Our Jack and Noel Fund helps cover emergent medical cases like Sienna’s that require specialized care outside of our shelter. While the fund allows us to provide lifesaving treatment when animals have nowhere else to turn, Sienna’s surgery represents a significant expense that will greatly reduce the resources available for future emergency cases.

Your support can give Sienna the chance to heal, run, play, and enjoy the happy, active life every puppy deserves. Click here to donate, share this post, and help us continue saying “yes” to Sienna, and the next animal in need just like her.

Together, we can provide hope, healing, and second chances.
