Quality Pavement LLC: Sponsoring food for shelter pets during the month of June

While ARL has had companies sponsor adoption events and fundraisers at the shelter, we had our first ever food sponsor in June thanks to Quality Pavement LLC! Thanks to their support, we were able to feed over 150 animals in our care.

Kimberton Whole Foods: Rounding up at the Register for ARL

Never underestimate the power of rounding up your change for a cause at the grocery store. Thanks to Kimberton Whole Foods’ Rounding Up at the Register program, the Animal Rescue League of Berks County was nominated for a second year in a row to be the recipients of donations accumulated at the registers during the month of May. Together with their customers, they raised $8,764.72 for the ARL!

Keller Williams Platinum Realty, Fisher’s Rental, and L&L Services and Rentals: Day of Service at ARL

This past May, a group of 35 realtors from Keller Williams volunteered to get down and dirty with tasks like painting various structures around campus, pulling weeds and mulching, and more. The mulch was donated by our friends at Fisher’s Rental, and the Keller Williams team also made a generous donation that was matched by L&L Services and Rentals!

Storage World and an anonymous donor: Sponsored adoption days at the ARL

In June, we found homes for 21 animals during two sponsored adoption events thanks to Storage World and an anonymous donor. These sponsored adoption days not only help us find homes for pets in the shelter, but they make room for even more animals who are counting on us every day, and we cannot be more grateful that we are able to offer them thanks to our generous sponsors!

Katie Marinacci, That Pineapple Agent: Co-hosting ARL’s Pet Portrait Art Show!

On June 24th, we unveiled the incredible 177 works of art featured in this year’s Pet Portrait FUNraiser by hosting an Art Show and Block Party with Katie Marinacci! Thanks to her sponsorship and support, our party had delicious snacks and refreshments, face painting, kids’ games, and more.

Ocean State Job Lot and Weis Markets: Donating gift cards to ARL

While our friends at Weis Markets have been ongoing supporters of the ARL by donating gift cards to our facility, our new friends at Ocean State Job Lot also recently supported us with a generous gift card donation! These gift cards make a big impact by allowing us to buy miscellaneous items around the shelter as needed without straining our budget.
