Memorial and Honorarium Gifts
Making a gift to the ARL can be a special way to celebrate a loved one’s life. These donations allow us to provide medical and emergency care, spay and neuter services, protective vaccines, nutritious food and a comfortable and safe place to sleep for thousands of animals we serve each and every year.

While the experience of losing a pet or a person you love is never easy, many people find comfort in giving donations to causes that will assist others during difficult times. Here, at the ARL, we’re deeply touched that you’re considering giving a gift to leave a lasting legacy in your dear one’s memory.
Although the services noted above are just some of many ways your gift could be used, you may also direct your donation to a specific cause that you feel would honor your loved one the most. Please consider reaching out to us to learn of other opportunities in which we can best honor your loved one.
If you are the surviving family member of a loved one that has passed and have chosen to support the ARL in lieu of flowers, please notify Stacey Cole at scole@berksarl.org or 610-621-4020. Notifications of who has donated will be sent to the family each Monday, provided we have your contact information.
Honorarium: A meaningful gift anytime…
Whether recognizing a person or a pet going through a difficult time, or celebrating a special achievement, birthday, holiday, anniversary or other occasion, a gift given in honor of someone offers them a unique way to let them know how much you care.
Your generosity today will be acknowledged by a special notification card, directed to your loved one to let them know of your thoughtfulness and how their struggles or triumphs inspired you to give on their behalf. In order for us to send them, please ensure that you include the recipient’s name and address in the special comments section of the donation form below.
