Saturday, May 25 - Vaccine Clinic at the ARL

The ARL offers low-cost vaccinations on the 4th Saturday of the month
from April through October.
Costs:
- Rabies or distemper combo - $9
- Bordetella (kennel cough) - $11
- Lyme - $24 for first vaccine and $17 for second/booster (Lyme is a
series of 2 vaccines when first administered)
Any credit card payments must first be made at the front office and
receipt presented at the clinic.

Effective

walking policy. We are now using a color coding
system. All volunteer dog walkers will be able to
walk the dogs labeled “green.” In order to walk the
dogs labeled “purple,” you will need to attend one
of our volunteer orientation classes. Once
completed, then you will be allowed to walk both
“green” and “purple” coded dogs.

for a day of events to benefit the ARL and CatWorks:
- Dog
adoptions, noon - 4:00pm
- Raffles
and auction prizes

Scavenger Hunt, 4:00pm - 7:00pm (adults only $10 per person). A list of
places to stop between Hamburg and Shoemakersville will be given. Bring
your camera or camera phone to prove everything on the list was done.
Designated drivers required as alcohol will be served. Prizes for 1st
and 2nd place,

Saturday and Sunday, June 15 and 16 - Annual Open House and
Adopt-a-thon!
9:00am - 9:00pm each day
This event
is an annual tradition at the ARL! We will be open for 12 hours both
days with lots of great adoptable pets, auctions, raffles, food and
baked goods for sale, and other fun family activities.

Bridge restaurant in Phoenixville

Join the
ARL for its first pub night! There will be craft beer tastings and food
pairings, raffles and music by the Whiskyhickon Boys. Tickets are $30
and will be available for purchase as the date gets nearer.
Bistro on
Bridge is very animal friendly! They even have a "puppy menu"! Proceeds
go to the ARL!

**Third Sunday of the month (January - November) - Fairchild
Foundation Spay and Neuter Clinic
Feral outdoor cats only, walk-ins accepted
with a limit of one trapped cat.
For multiple cats, E-mail
fairchildfoundation@gmail.com for appointments.
Arrive 9-10am. All cats MUST be in a Humane Box Trap for safety
purposes. You must also bring a hard plastic pet carrier with two
towels for recovery for each cat. Write your last name on masking/duct
tape and affix it to the carrier, trap, and towels.
All cats will be tested for FELV and FIV. If the cat tests positive and
can not be confined 100% indoors, humane
euthanasia is recommended.
Donation: $35 per cat (cash or check only) which includes testing,
sterilization, rabies, distemper, deworming/flea treatment and left
ear tip. ALL FERAL CATS MUST BE EAR-TIPPED FOR IDENTIFICATION!
Pick up your cat when contacted by Fairchild (between 11am-2pm).
**Low-cost vaccine clinics are held April through
October on the fourth Saturday of the month from 1:00pm until
2:30pm.

pet. Grey Muzzle will have a booth and adoptable senior cats. We are

in need. Gifts 2 Help Rescues is a national organization whose
mission is to bring awareness to homeless animals as well as to raise
much needed funds for animal rescue groups and shelters. A
majority of their products are homemade and they donate at least 25% of
those items to the rescue group or shelter of their customer's choice.
